Internships
The Office of Rep. Simon Cataldo offers a robust internship program for undergraduate and graduate students. Please contact the Office with any questions.
We are now hiring for Spring and Summer 2026 internships.
Our legislative interns play an integral role in our office's day-to-day operations and gain insight into the legislative process in Massachusetts.
Interns are unpaid volunteers, but we’re happy to work with students to secure college credit for their work. This is an in-person role based in the Massachusetts State House.
Potential assignments span the many functions conducted in a House office, including, but not limited to:
• Policy research
• Attending and preparing for hearings
• Attending meetings with stakeholders
• Drafting letters of support for priority legislation
• Drafting press releases
• Social media communications
• Organizing and attending events
• Tracking news & events in Representative Cataldo’s district
• Greeting and receiving office guests and visitors
District connections are preferred, particularly for summer interns, but not required.
Anyone interested in applying should email anna.osullivan@mahouse.gov with a resume and a cover letter.
